Australia Awards Short Course alumnus Gilbert Tabihau, Chief Education Officer for Makira Ulawa Province, says completing the Transformative Change Leadership Short Course has equipped him with essential leadership, strategic planning, and collaboration skills. The course was delivered by the University of Newcastle under the Australia Awards. 

“The course has enabled me to drive education reforms, improve coordination, and support school leadership in Makira Ulawa Province”.

Gilbert is using the skills in his training of school leaders in Makira Province on using technology in education, enhancing students’ learning through digital tools.
